High temperature thermometer, Pyrometer, AC powered

Product Update (8/14/2023): The new batch AT100-TC thermometer is installed with a female thermocouple mini connector. 

This listing includes one modified AT100-TC thermometer (with a yellow mini connector on the bottom) and one thermocouple temperature probe.

(Note: AT100 thermometers shipped before 8/14/2023 are installed with a special green color sensor connector (TPinCON), not a thermocouple mini connector.) 

AT100 Features:

• LED digital display, easy to read from a distance.
• Powered with an AC adapter for continuous operation.
• Programmable alarm with built-in buzzer.
• Record peak temperature and the time when peak temperature is reached.

This small and compact thermometer can be used for either industrial or home applications.  It has an LED display that can be more easily read from a distance compared to LCD based displays. The thermometer is powered by an AC to 12VDC adapter (included). It can operate continuously 24/7, as compared to most battery-powered thermometers that will shut off by themselves after a short period of operation (to save battery).

The thermometer can accept 8 of the most commonly used thermocouples to cover a very broad temperature range.  With K type thermocouple; it can measure from -320 ~ 2400ºF (or -200 ~ 1300ºC). With a type R or type S thermocouple, it can measure from -58 ~ 2900ºF (or -50 ~ 1600ºC).   It also supports Pt100 RTD sensors for high precision and high accuracy measurement with 1 F or 0.1F resolution. The sensor type can be selected and set by the user. The display unit can be set to either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

This thermometer has a programmable alarm with a built-in buzzer. When the desired temperature is reached, the alarm will beep to alert the user.  Peak temperature and the time when peak temperature is reached can be recorded.

Note: this meter has a built-in buzzer but you cannot use an external buzzer with it. If you need an external buzzer, please check AT200CHIM.

Probe options (see the Sensor Options drop-down list):

1. 6" Inconel Probe (WRNK-191): 6" (150 mm) long, 2000°F (1100°C) maximum temperature probe. The maximum insertion length is 3", and the maximum temperature on the transition area is 750°F (400°C). Cable length is 6 ft (2m). Probe diameter is 5/32" (4.0 mm). It doesn't fit Ad-KEGTS. 
2. 10" Inconel Probe (WRNK-191): 10" (250 mm) long, 2000°F (1100°C) maximum temperature probe. The probe diameter is 5/32" (4.0 mm). The cable length is 6 ft (2m). It doesn't fit Ad-KEGTS.
3. Ceramic Probe, 11Ga (TC-K-KLN): 11 Gauge probe wire, ceramic insulated, 12" (300 mm) long, nonportable probe, 1300°C ( 2373°F). Comes with 6 ft type K thermocouple wires and a type K mini connector. 
4. Ceramic Probe, 8Ga (TC-K-KLN): 8 Gauge probe wire, ceramic insulated, 12" (300 mm) long, nonportable probe, 1300°C ( 2373°F). Comes with a 6 ft type K thermocouple wire and a type K mini connector. 
5. Ceramic Probe & Sheath (TC-K-KLN & TC-K-KLNSH): 11 gauge probe wire, 12" (300 mm) ceramic probe plus a 12" ceramic sheath for the gas oven (reducing environment) 1300°C (2373°F). Comes with a 6 ft type K thermocouple wire and a type K mini connector. 
6. 4" Probe with Bracket (TC-K-BR): This probe can be used on double-wall pipes. User needs to drill a 1/8" hole to insert the probe. Maximum temperature 1650ºF. The cable length is 6 ft (2m). If you need a longer cable for this probe, please order KX23CON at the same time. 
7. Magnetic Sensor (TC-K-MAG): This probe can be attached to iron or steel pipes or walls. The maximum temperature is 750ºF. If the temperature goes beyond this limit, the magnet may lose some of its holding force. The cable length is 6 ft (2m). If you need a longer cable for this probe, please order KX23CON at the same time. 
8. Washer Sensor (TC-K-WS): This sensor is suitable for single-wall pipes. It can be mounted on the surface of the pipe or stove with a #10 screw. Maximum temperature 1650ºF. The cable length is 6 ft (2m).

Two Ceramic probe wire diameters are offered, gauges 11 and 8. The gauge 11 wire probe has a faster response time for more precise temperature control. On the other hand, the gauge 8 wire probe is the most durable out of all our type K probes. It is the thickest wire available for the type K probe (0.128 inches, or 3.25 mm OD). If you need an additional ceramic insulator, please check TC-K-KLNCI. Ceramic probes & sheaths are made in the USA. 

If you want to use compression fitting for the Inconel probe, please check WRNK-193. It has 3.0 mm OD and it fits Ad-KEGTS.
